MEET MOLLY

Molly Stevens is Founder and Principal of Moontower Coaching and Consulting, a practice dedicated to individual and organizational fulfillment and excellence. In 2019, she retired from her role as CEO and Executive Director of Westcave Outdoor Discovery Center after 13 years of service.

 

Molly has been dedicated to environmental advocacy and natural resource protection for more than 30 years. Before joining Westcave, she was with the Environmental Defense Fund’s Texas regional office as Director of Development and then Regional Managing Director. Prior to that, she was the State Development Director for the Nature Conservancy of Texas. She is the past Board Chair of Texas Children in Nature and the founding Board Chair for Families in Nature (FiN). Molly also served on the Board of Directors for the National Recreation and Parks Association (NRPA) where she chaired the Governance Committee.

 

On 2020, Molly received the Camp Fire Central Texas Promise to Children Award as well as the Nature Heroes Award from Families in Nature. She has been featured in the Texas Legacy Project, The Austin Common radio broadcast, and will be profiled in an upcoming book on women in conservation here in Texas.

 

Molly has traveled extensively throughout the world and is an avid outdoor enthusiast. She holds a BA from Olivet College in Political Science and Communication. She is married and together, she and her husband have two sons – both in their 20s.
